Fabre Montmayou Reserva Malbec 2024 from Bodegas Fabre has been awarded a Master medal at the 2026 Global Malbec Masters, earning the highest possible distinction in one of the world’s most respected wine competitions.

Presented by a panel of elite judges—including Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers—this accolade recognises Fabre Montmayou Reserva Malbec as an outstanding example of its type, reflecting impeccable winemaking and world-class quality.

The Global Malbec Masters, part of the Global Wine Masters series, was held in London on 5th August, 2026.  Run by leading industry publication the Drinks Business, this competition is among 32 Global Wine Masters events in 2026, each evaluating wines by grape or style to ensure fair, expert-led judging.

Commenting on the award, owner and winemaker Hervé said: “This is the first time we have entered this competition and to be recognised with a Master medal is an extraordinary honour. This award is a testament to our team’s passion, precision, and pursuit of excellence in every bottle that we produce at Bodegas Fabre.”
